Children's day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by VKV, Tezpur in the school premises. Teachers from both primary and secondary conducted the morning assembly. They also performed a special item to celebrate the occasion. The importance and significance of the day were explained by the teacher. A motivational short film and a humorous movie were shown to the students. Students were also distributed with a light refreshment and a friendly kho-kho match was conducted for the houses.

Celebration of Asom Diwas on 2nd Dec,24
On the auspicious occasion of 'Asom
Diwas', VKV, Tezpur organised a short program on Monday.The program began with
lighting of the lamp in front of the portrait of Chaolung Sukapha, the first
Ahom king and founder of the Ahom Kingdom and the offering of floral tribute to
the great soul.The significance and the importance of observing this special
day were explained by the teacher.

Celebrated Sadhnana Diwas on 19th Nov,2024
Vkv,Tezpur observed Sadhana Diwas on
19th Nov, 2024.Students both from primary and secondary paid homage to the
great soul. The significance of the day was told by the teacher which was
followed by a group song performed by the students. A video was shown to
students on Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade and Rock Memorial followed by a quick
explanation by the teacher on Eknathji's unwavering efforts and contributions
in the construction of the National Monument, Vivekananda Kendra Rock Memorial,
Kanyakumari.

SISTER NIVEDITA JAYANTI ON 28th OCT,2024
Sister Nivedita Jayanti was observed in the vidyalaya (secondary block) in the morning assembly on 28tg oct, 2024.The programme began with mangalacharan along with floral tribute to the portrait of Sister Nivedita. Then the significance of the day was explained by the teacher and then a group song performed by the secondary students. An open quiz competition was also conducted highlighting the occasion.
The primary
students were also given a glimpse through a video on life and journey of
Margaret Elizabeth Noble and her contributions
to awaken India's youth.

GANDHI JAYANTI AND SHASTRI JAYANTI on 2nd Oct, 2024
VKV, Tezpur celebrated Gandhi Jayantiand and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at the Vidyalaya premises with great enthusiasm. The occasion began with shanty path and the significances of the day explained by the teachers. The programme also inclined group songs, a play by the primary students and “desh bhakti” geet( lead and follow). The progeamme concluded with shanty Mantra.

Our school celebrated the Teachers’ Day on 5th
of September with great enthusiasm. The whole program was organised by the
students of class IX and X.
The program started with “Shanti Path” and then an opening dance performance by class IX girls along with a group song by both class IX and X students. The Principal of the Vidyalaya presided over the function. The student’s felicities the teachers with Gamosha and pens. Then the Principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts they put in every
Sankardev Tithi 4th Sept 2024
On September 4, 2024, Vidyalaya celebrated Sankardev Punyatithi in the school campus. Students both from secondary and primary came together to celebrate the auspicious day. The significance of the day was explained by the student. A group of secondary students decorated “thapona” a place where Holy Bhagavat is kept and worshipped. A house wise “diha naam” competition was conducted and a few students performed “dashaavatara” dance.
The class x students presented a special item”
Nritya Natika” glorifying the divine journey of Lord Krishna from his birthday
to “Kansavadh”.
Finally, the programme ended with vote of thanks
and Prasad distribution.
