Republic Day is the day when India marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Tezpur celebrated Republic Day in the vidyalaya premises. The Day started with the unfurling of the tricolor flag by respected Principal Didi accompanied by Bitu Saikia Sir. A Speech was delivered by a student and a teacher of our vidyalaya. Respected Principal Didi and Reboti Devi Didi also highlighted on the significance of the day. Patriotic songs were performed by our students and teachers.
National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is celebrated on 12th January, being the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
On the occasion of 160th birth anniversary of the mighty son of India , the disciple of RamaKrishna Paramhans the wondering monk Swami Vivekananda , a procession from Harisabha to Church field , Tezpur was jointly organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tezpur, Ram krishna Sevashram, Vivekananda Kendra Tezpur branch, Assam prant Kanyakumari with the gracious presence of Karabi Karan, CEO Zilla Parishad, Sonitpur and Manali Das, District Commandant Home Guard .
Cultural Day was organized VKV Tezpur with our Honourable guest Ajay Kandulna, Principal of B.Ed college , Tezpur. Some students of our school were performed songs, different dances and poem recitation etc.
An annual sports week full of activities. In our Vidyalaya Annual Sports Week was held from 2nd January to 7th January . It was a 7 day event and various exciting games were organized for primary as well as secondary students.
