Madhavdev Tithi was observed at VKV, Tezpur on
23rd August 2024 with great enthusiasm. It's a day to commemorate the life and
legacy of Sri Sri Madhavdev, a respected and honoured saint and the foremost
disciple of Srimanta Sankardev. He is also the founder of Vaishnavism in Assam.
One of the teachers spoke about his selfless devotion, his contributions to the Bhakti movement, and his unwavering dedication to the service of humanity. They also performed Borgeet and Sattriya Dance t
o mark the occasion.
