Raksha Bandhan-2019

The Vidyalaya celebrated Rakshabandhan at School premises    with students. A group of students escorted by teacher went to AISF Campus and LG.B.R.I.M.H to tie Rakhi to the Jawans and employees respectively. 

Independence Day-2015

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tezpur celebrated such an auspicious occasion with full gusto. The day started with hoisting of the tricolor by respected Principal. She then delivered a speech on the occasion. Patriotic songs were performed by both Students and Teachers. An interactive session       involving quizing and discussion on freedom struggle of India was done by one of the teachers. Rajesh Sarkar, art teacher of the Vidyalaya gave tribute to our motherland by performing a speed art.

International Day of Yoga-2019

International Day of Yoga was celebrated by the Vidyalaya in three places- ITBP, Dipota Natya Mandir and Amiyo Das High School. Students and teachers of our school participated and guided the public and ITBP personnel present on the occasion. The school conducted a week-long  yoga session at Dipota Natyamandir from 15th to 21st June, 2019.

World Environment Day-2019

The day was celebrated with various competitions for students to increase Eco-awareness. Self-composed poem writing competition was conducted for standard IV & V.  Students of class I, II & III participated in an Art competition . A debate competition on the topic of "Conservation of nature and development cannot go hand in had " was held for students class VI onward.

Personality Development Camp-2019

The Personality Development Camp – 2019 was inaugurated by respected principal of VKV, Tezpur Smt. Rupanjali Borthakur Didi. Didi delivered the welcome speech conveying the students about the importance of personality development.

National Tobacco Control Program- 2019

District  Tobacco Control Cell, Sonitpur organised an awareness program at the the school . SDM  Dr. Sunanda Tamuli  talked to the students on  the topic of  passive smoking and told the students to spread the awareness of it.   

Rabindra Jayanti-2019

Rabindra Jayanti has been observed in the junior and and senior  morning assembly with speeches on Gurudev and Singing of Rabindra Sangeet by the students. 

Celebration of National Youth Day-2019

156^th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda has been celebrated in the Vidyalaya. The students presented captivating display of Satriya Dance, mass drill, pyramid etc in front of around 400 spectators. It is noteworthy that each and every student of the school participated in at least one  of the performances.

Prize Distribution Ceremony of Annual Sports Week 2018-19

Prize Distribution ceremony of Annual Sports Week 2018-19 was held on 11th January, 2019. Smt. Manorama Das , District Sports Officer, Sonitpur and Smt Lonima Talukdar, Inspector of Physical Education, Sonitpur were present as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour  respectively. They both encouraged the students to take part in sports and showed how students can take their talent in sports to the next level.
