International Yoga Day , 21st June 2023

 International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and teachers in the Vidyalaya premises with great enthusiasm. Students of Class I to X demonstrated various yoga asana. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asana, importance of these were explained simultaneously.







Rabha Divas , 20th June 2023

The death anniversary of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha was observed on 20th June inside the Vidyalaya premises. The welcoming speech and purpose of the day was delivered by one of the teachers of Vidyalaya. The students also performed a group song i.e 'Rabha Sangeet' to pay tribute to the legendary cultural and literacy icon of our country.


Environment Day , 5th June 2023

 With an objective to encourage general awareness and action for the environment , the Vidyalaya observed World's Environment Day on 5th June. Students of IX and X started the day by cleaning  the school premises and its campus. After that an extempore speech competition was held for all the house dealing with some current environmental topics. A group song and  a skit play were also performed by the primary students.    

Cleanliness Program , 4th June 2023

On the occasion of World's Environment Day, a cleanliness drive was conducted on 4th of June by VKV Tezpur. All the teaching and non-teaching staffs of the Vidyalaya went to a nearby locality for cleaning the streets, lanes and by-lanes to remove garbage's and plastic materials form the road.


Painting Competition , 31st May 2023

An Art Competition for the students of Class VI to VIII was organized on 31st of May inside the Vidyalaya premises. The competition was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture in collaboration with VKSPV.

Vidyarambha , 31st March 2023

 

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Tezpur organized Vidya Arambh ceremony to extent warm welcome to the parents and our tiny tots. The ceremony began with 'Aarti' by the teachers to welcome the newcomers. The teachers also sang 'Ganesh Bhajan' to seek blessing of the Almighty. The students are also fed honey and sweets and are taught to write first letter of their mother-tongue by the teachers.
