Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tezpur celebrated such an auspicious occasion with full gusto. The day started with hoisting of the tricolor by respected Principal. She then delivered a speech on the occasion. Patriotic songs were performed by both Students and Teachers.
Raksha Bandhan is celebrated every year in the vidyalaya. This is a ritual of protection, the greatest gift that siblings give each other.The students were instructed to make rakhis out of waste materials at home.The Vidyalaya celebrated Rakshabandhan at School premises.

A Personality Development Camp was organized for the students of class VI in our vidyalaya. Prayers , Bouddhik Satra , Yogasana , Geet Abhyas, Manthan, Khel etc. were held for 6 days. The concluding session was graced by Dr. Palashmoni Saikia, Principal of Darrang College , Tezpur.
