VKV, Tezpur observed Gita Jayanti in the Vidyalaya premises in a befitting manner. The programme started with lighting up the lamp followed by Manglacharan. Smt. Rupanjoli Borthakur, Principal of the Vidyalaya delivered a speech on the significance of the day, which was followed by 'Gita Chanting' competition by the primary students. Sri Balen Sarma, Principal of Sonitpur Prachya Vidyalaya was invited as the judge for the competition. An inter-house 'Gita Chanting' competition was also conducted for the Secondary students.
