Raksha Bandhan is celebrated every year in the vidyalaya. This is a ritual of protection, the greatest gift that siblings give each other. Keeping the pandemic situation in mind, the vidyalaya devised an alternative way to celebrate the auspicious occasion. The students were instructed to make rakhis out of waste materials at home.
The students used those to tie around the wrist of their brothers, sisters or cousins following the rituals of Raksha Bandhan. They were also made aware of the significance of the day through a video and an audio clip which were prepared by the vidyalaya. It was celebrated through virtual platform.
